Our Favorite Sustainable & DTC Loungewear Brands for Cozy Winter Style

Let’s talk sustainable and DTC loungewear brands. We’re all fully embracing the cozy life this winter so why not support ethical and women-owned businesses while we’re at it? Look, we’re all trying to rely a bit less on Amazon these days and there’s a great feeling knowing that you’re spending your money with a company that has ethical business practices and sources their materials fairly.

And if there’s one bright spot 2020 has brought us, it’s been an influx of well styled loungewear brands with sustainable stories and an emphasis on corporate responsibility. There’s no need to take your conference calls in an old t-shirt from college and yoga leggings (though, if that’s your vibe, do it). You’ve got options. There are so many beautifully designed sweatsuits, flowy jumpers, and soft sweaters to drape yourself in this winter. So let’s embrace the cozy and shop a few of our favorite loungewear brands.

Our Favorite Sustainable, Woman-Owned, and DTC Loungewear Brands

RicherPoorer

From ethical factories to recycled fabrics and biodegradable packaging, this womens’ and mens’ line of sweats, underwear, and loungewear is your new WFH best friend. We’re pretty sure once we put the robe coat on, we may never take it off (apologies to our colleagues who will wonder if we just woke up on tomorrow morning’s Zoom call).

Naadam

Sustainable cashmere straight from herders in the Mongolian desert, that’s what you’ll get when you buy Naadam’s chic, minimalist loungewear. These are the cashmere sweatsuits you’ve likely seen all over Instagrams and their joggers are totally worth the hype.

Parachute Home

You’ve probably seen Parachute Home’s gorgeous linen and cotton bedding, but did you know they’re also bringing you comfy DTC robes in their signature cloud cotton and waffle knit matching sets. Is there anything that sounds more heavenly than wrapping yourself up in soft loungewear only to lay down on the same soft linens? We think not.

Summersalt

Summersalt has us outfitted in size-inclusive swimwear all summer long but they’ve also expanded into comfy pieces for home. This DTC brand focuses on recycled materials and their loungewear pieces have a bold, stylish sensibility with everything from trendy tie dye sweatsuits to cashmere joggers in colorful combos.

Boody

You’ll find sustainable, super soft bamboo viscose at Boody, an Australian company that focuses on ethical business practices. You’ll also find the comfiest tops, leggings, and loungewear –– we love the ballet-inspired vibe of their feminine scoop neck tee. Bonus: their prices are fantastic for a sustainable line!

Lunya

We love a woman-owned business that’s all about comfort and that describes Lunya to a T. This elevated loungewear brand has the flowy, feminine, minimalist pieces that you’d imagine a free-spirited, stunning artist wearing as she tends to her herb garden (specific, but, trust me, it’s accurate). Also, they have an incredible array of jumpsuits and rompers, even in washable silk, and, if you ask us, these are the all-stars of WFH wear. Just add a different necklace or scarf to feel totally pulled together.

Have Other Small DTC, Sustainable, or Woman-Owned Loungewear Brands You Love?

We’re all ears if you have other sustainable, woman-owned, or DTC loungewear brands that you love to live in! We can’t get enough of the cashmere jogger, linen jumpsuit, cotton robe life and we know our readers are on the same page. Share them in the comments or tag us on Insta with the brands you’ve discovered!
